Pre-K Curriculum
The primary goal of Little Learner’s Pre-K Program is to create lifelong learners who are prepared educationally, emotionally and socially for kindergarten. Four-year-olds are naturally hungry for active learning in a social environment. That’s why our Pre-K program provides endless opportunities to establish the emotional intelligence, technology literacy, communication skills and collaboration.
Each day at Little Learners, time is allotted for developing literacy skills, exercising creativity, increasing mathematical sense, art & music activities, self-expression and physical education. Our curriculum is taught in an environment that encourages group participation and individual expression encouraging children to be confident, independent, and self regulated.
Through daily activities academic skills, such as pre-reading, writing, math, and science will be reinforced along with flexibility, mindfulness, and reflection. Our creative-focused teaching techniques allow for stimulation of curiosity, while the more structured setting encourages growth of the physical and emotional stamina needed to enter a kindergarten classroom. Each child will leave with the lifelong learning skills needed to be a happy, productive and resilient learners.
